BRING IT BACK |

(N. Assirati, P Assirati, R Gueye) I had this chord sequence in C which I used as a practice thing for my scales and I thought up a few riffy bits which the others developed. Nick was talking about a radio programme he heard which compared the West to a comfortable fat man asleep in his chair while the storm raged outside and said it was a good image for a song. I'm not a in a place where I'm writing political stuff at the moment so I turned the image into something more akin to a W B Yeats poem I liked. I think it's a very hopeful and romantic way to close the album. |
